  2. breakfast - peach chobani yogurt lunch - few slices of sweet deli ham, a few baby carrots and a wedge of laughing cow garlic and herb light cheese dinner - cous cous sauteed with garlic, spinach and feta and a piece of baked pork snack - strawberry popsicle

    How about COBRA - maybe you can use them for a couple of months? I am so sorry - how devastating. I understand why you are crushed.

  13. Wrenbird, I came on this thread because I was trying to help the op - not to debate our surgeons' beliefs Spoiltmom - I hope you find something that works for you and I also hope you can feel satiated and deal with the head hunger demons!!! Power to you Mama! You can do it

I wasn't thinking about grazing - just eating 5 oz of the goods at a time My surgeon recommends this She says many patients overeat and end up stretching their esophagus - then they are totally screwed! Anyhow - mentally it works for me to not eat as much or so often if I limit myself - wait and see how my body feels and then when I am truly hungry eat some more :thumbup:

  17. eggs - w/cheese salsa pepper ... pack meals the night before I cooked black beans, split pea soup, and lentils - then puree away - tons of protein and yummy!
  18. I am weighing myself only at the doctor's office - I know that I can easily become obsessed to things - so I am not allowing myself to making it be about the number. i am not going to lie - it is way exciting when I get weighed there :laugh:

    In the dark...

    So sorry! I wish had a magic wand to send you the strength and courage you need. I know that you can do this - but you have to believe you can do this. Start fresh tomorrow and forget about the past few days - don't beat yourself up. You can't change the past, but you certainly have the power to make better choices in the future. Is there a support group near you. It would be great if you could find other people in your area facing the same challenges. Chin Up tomorrow is a new day
