  1. The weightloss center, top surgeons...did anyone use these guys? I am using them right now and they are getting me in right away to do all my pre op appts and test and all that stuff, but.....I can seem to get any answers from these guys...they are kind of flaky...I dont like that I have only to talk to the designated consultant and if she seems to be a bit flaky or overworked not sure...but im starting to get iffy about these people. Would like some feed back if anyone use this program.
  2. My sister bought a 60$ protien powder at GNC and that is really bad...I did not like the tast of it at all. This is a good buy though, I like it too. So, I have a question for you. Did you prepare youself mentally and started a diet other than the liquid one before you surgery? And how are you doing now?
  3. I got buy one for 36.99 and got 1 for free. They are pretty good too. You have to get that wellness card that is for free either way. I think this was a good deal.
  4. im with Victorisaac... this is a cruel world and we can never please not even 1/2 of the people who surround us on a daily basis. but i say this...why do we put everyone else before us..what about me..what about pleasing myself...looking at myself and saying..damn i feel good today...my feet did not hurt when i got up this morning and stepped on the floor...im glad that i can paint my toenails...myself... This is what im looking forward too...feeling better for myself and then yes....it will bring about a healthier life style with my children and husband...and then i can finally look forward to do what i have always wanted to do.... RIVER RAFTING..!!!!YEAH..
  5. I am really hoping that I wont have a problem and I get approved with out much hassle. They cover weightloss surgery and the also, for cosmetic surgery if they covered a weight loss surgery..but I would have to wait 1 year to 1 1/2 year for it...which is just awesome....so I am looking for forward to an approval...soon after my sleep study next friday.

  9. So my story is like this...my whole life overwieght, I was referred by my dr. back when I was like 25 for they gastric bypass...I knew I wanted it, but I wanted to keep trying to loose the wieght on my own..it always went down and then right back up...and so on..Now, Im 36 and Im 304 lbs...and I can no longer hide the fact that Im sooo uncomfortable in my own body...No matter how nice I dress, how I do my hair and makeup or how well I carry myself...Im tired, I have no energy...my feet hurt and I hate to see myself in pictures now...so, finally I got on My husbands insurance since he has a ppo and whats more this time is that he is being very supportive and he is even going to go thru this with me...He needs to love some weight too. We went to the seminar July 7th, we have our upper endos..somthing and labwork on the July 21, 2010 and our sleep study on August 13, 2010...then we just wait for the approval from our Insurance company...Im hoping for it with ALL my heart now...I need this..really really this...
