I truly understand your feelings and I understand your "keeping it on the down low" I felt the same way. My decision to have lap band surgery was strictly my decision, it was all about me and I didnt feel like everyone needed to know. It was a hard decision, very scary and getting out of bed after surgery - no one told me about that pain! I wouldnt change a thing. I am very glad I had the surgery, it has been very successful for me. You've got my support.
  3. This November will be 3 years since my lap band surgery. I am holding steady at 160 after loosing 100 pounds. It seems unbelievable to me that I had 100 pounds to loose. I have not had a fill in almost one year. The 3 years have gone by quickly with no problems or issues. Recently I have been having issues with a very tight band in the mornings. Its usually midmorning or noon before I can eat. Lunch is very light. By evening/dinner time I have starving. I experience reflux/heartburn day and night. Zantac has become my friend. I seem to be craving more carbs lately having more fatigue and chronic constipation. Im getting my protein in, not so much fruits and veggies. I look in the mirror and see an over weight person looking back. Just wondering if Im experiencing some sort of a depression, maybe going through a down period since the weight loss has slowed down. Anything similar out there? Thanks
  4. Emotional eating is my biggest problem. I find myself eating just to keep my mouth shut, afraid I may say something I will regret.
  5. Lap band procedure was November 2009. I have lost 100 pounds. Cant seem to get the last 5 off. I have been having late night hunger attacks in the last several months. How can I keep them away or fight them off?
