  1. So I'm new around here.. I just barely started to get the ball rolling on this. I talked to my PCP about getting Lap Band and she thought it was a good option for me, so she gave me a referral and had me call the hospital to set up an appointment to attend a seminar. I went to the seminar on May 26th, filled out the packet, and was told that they would call me once they verified I was covered by both insurances. They said it takes no longer than 2 weeks. We're entering week 3 now and I still have yet to hear back from the hospital on this. How long did it take you to hear back? Or is there something I should be doing that I'm not?
