  1. My BMI was 31.88, hw 182, sw 180, cw 164. Long story, started with band, lost 80, band slipped, had removed, went with sleeve, didn’t work, no weight loss, but Gerd real bad! So had bypass for the Gerd, on 9/25....so far so good! By the way I’ll be 69 in December!
  2. Yes, I had to do this too because of bad acid reflux....
  3. I picked the sleeve when I had my band removed, its what caused me to get acid reflux, it is also known to cause it........
  4. I would say bypass.....I have had all three surgeries! Just to save $$$$. Now I have spent enough to have paid for it after all! Had my bypass on 9/25 and feeling great!
  5. I’m feeling really good, had staples out yesterday so much better! I’ve lost around 11 pounds so so, I feel so much better already! Still on liquids like soup, etc but next week Soft Foods.....can’t wait!

  7. Yes, I had band to sleeve, but that didn’t do anything but give me Gurd, really bad, so on 9/25 had bypass, so far so good, not acid reflux....the reason I had the surgery to begin with.. by the way, never lost any weight with the sleeve! Have already lost 11 pounds as of 10/1....

  10. I really did not even know I had a hernia!! Yes mine did the same thing at times when I would bend over....the twisted feeling. I had surgery on 9/25, feeling a lot better today, had a spell yesterday, I guess what they call dumping, not really sure, boy it was not fun! Have I don't do that again! I started at around 182, at 171 this morning!! Please keep in touch...

  14. I had sleeve to bypass on 9/25, had bad hernia fixed too & had a lot of scar tissue she removed....I’m feeling ok, still a little sore, but each day gets better! I’ve lost only 8 pounds so far but I’m excited for the future!
  15. At my smallest, with the lapband, got down to 125 & wore a 4-6, I’m 5’3”
  16. I had sleeve when I had band removed, all it did was give me acid reflux real bad and no Wright loss...
  17. Had my surgery this past Monday...everything went well, Dr said I had a big hernia, one of the largest she had seen, she did my bypass so hopefully that will fix my Gurd, acid reflux. Sore but other than that fell good, I know each day will get better, my Dr also said that my stomach was up in my chest wall..... no wonder I didn’t lose any weight after the sleeve...But did lose 80 pounds with the band.
  18. I had sleeve in April, 2016... & removed lap and, never lost any weight just got Gurd, acid reflux real bad! Having bypass on Monday the 25th...
