That is superb! Many congratulations to you and I hope your success continues to flourish. I've just had a revision 12/12 from sleeve to bypass and am anxious to see how my journey goes.

I had RNY in 2003 and revised in 2008 d/t wt gain. It helped and I lost 70 lbs after the revision.

What are you revising and when?

I'm 9 days post op from vsg to bypass.

This makes me feel better to see good results. I am scheduled to have band to bypass on January 25th. I've heard that revision patients tend to lose slower. Any feedback as to how it's gone for all of you who have experience?

I am to have a sleeve to Bypass revision done on the 23rd due to reflux. Has anyone gone through that. I can't seem to find anything on the site. I am just wondering weight wise how much more anyone has lost.

  • 8 months later...

I had my stomach stapled in 1991 and lost maybe 40 lbs. It wasn't worth it...now I am going to have an RNY soon, I hope, and I'm a little nervous. I gained back all my weight from the stapling, and I'm worried it will happen again. Did anyone else feel this way?
