Happy Birthday Suzy.....not much happening here..my microwave died and income tax check won't be here til late next week...we got about a foot of snow Tuesday..not as bad as east Coast for sure...still at 10 lbs to goal....gonna see-saw for a while I see...nothing new on job front...sigh..my sister, bil and littlr great nephew are coming in this weekend...she has tickets to see david Cassidy Saturday, going to Chicago Auto show on Sunday...:thumbup: Have a great day....

My date was2/28/07...start weight was 276.5, I am currently at 165.6...about 10# to goal...no erosion or port problems and no plastic planned...not sure where it would all get tucked to....too bad they don't have "Spanx" for the ENTIRE body!!! Very pleased with things, and if I could find a job I would be a very happy camper:thumbup:

quiet here today....not much new here, as usual...gonna be rainy weekend turning to snow by Monday....nothing planned...boring are we!

Great pictures Judy...making me very nostalgic...I need a cruise bad...I need a job, so I can go on vacation... Getting some freezing rain/drizzle right now..I am so ready for spring! Went on a cattle call interview this AM...then another interview for computer tech company.,..crossing fingers....pay wasn't much, but at this point, I don't even care anymore... I was down 3 lbs last week after a few weeks of gains...so still about 9 lbs. to goal. I would like to do it by my bandiversary date of 2-28-07. Just having leftover jambalaya tonight....:biggrin:

Haydee, he wants to lose 50# in 12 wks, think he did the pd for pd challenge with Biggest Loser...he has probably about 75-100 to lose, I think, but he doesn't agree-he thinks he'll be too skinny...yeah right...men...he thinks about losing wght and it comes off, he just doesn't think about it often enough or long enough...I have been "hearing" from some of my other Houston email buds...and they are hunkering down too...it has been snowing all day here...supposed to get Yet another foot!JOY, love winter=NOT!:thumbup:

there was just a commercial/demo on Food Network, that Greek yogurt is yogurt that has been strained/drained -all the water drains out....Have a wonderful cruise Judy...I am jealous...whaat is the other site like Myplate? Hubby is going to drive me nuts counting WW points, he can do calories...the man does not grasp the PORTION CONTROL concept!!! Ok, going to bed...have a good night!

I am here in a cocoon...we are having furnace problems...no heat tonight..had to order a part, it won't be here til tomorrow...so heater, fire place and oven are going full tilt....

Hello Ladies, I am still here...Christmas was good...got a laptop for me....we are wireless now....and got my daughter a itouch...she is addicted...lol...and we got hubby a DVD player so he can watch movies on his daily commute to Chicago...now just have to set him up with Netflix....had a little gain over the weeknd...gosh, i could feel it Friday night...too much stuff....well too much eggnog maybe....and cookies... and french silk pie ugh, full again just typing it...but its gone and over with. Still nothing on job front...even Weight watcher's has disappointed me...hopefully 2010 will be better... Did anybody get Jenny McCarthy Shape game??? We got it for PC, and I installed it today-it comes with a camera, which, the new laptop has one also, and it says it can't run, because I need a video card????I am also having issues -I have a purchased version of Office 2003 and want to upgrade/transfer it to new PC, but product code/key I have keeps saying no good...I need a guru to help me...Why does it have to be so hard??? Sorry to hear Suzanne....that you didn't get the job-I can relate...try being 59!!! It is very discouraging...at this rate though, I will not have to wait for any w-2's to do my taxes...have less than 10lbs. to go to goal wght. Anyways, hope everbody is having a great weekend!

Janie, I said the same thing....Amanda only lost 5 lbs......They did show Shay on Jay Leno, and she looked really good....she had lost 115 or 150...can't remember...so did Daniel....look really good...ah well, it's late here too....

Thanks for the compliments on Mr. Dylan, he is a cutie....but so are Carson and Grady, and Ethan....Michelle, I have a question, how would one get into the editing/proofreading? biz such as you.??... I haven't heard back from the Weight Watchers lady...I need to do something here quick....heading into winter and the thought of being stuck in the house is making me nutz! The ex-husband of some old friends of ours passed away, we have the wake to go to Friday....haven't seen them in years, but was thinking of him a while back....I guess he had been estranged from one of his kids for 10 years...weird....anyways, where is Suzanne or Kat lately?? and Terri...? This is my "great nephew" Dylan in HIS dragon costume...he lives in Ohio-Sylvania, near Toledo, and he was 2 in July...these were his Mom's cell phone pics, I am sure Grammy has better ones to come...I hear ya about November, Pam...my Mom and hubby's Mom both died in November, right around my birthday....hang in there, it will be December all too quickly I am afraid!

My sister said Dylan who is 2 was a dragon also...I didn't see pics yet! We had a fair amount of T&t'ers...still too much candy left...well I had an interview with Weight Watchers the other day....I have to be within 10 lbs. of goal weight to be hired....as of Weds. I was 15.8 away, today, well before I opened the candy, I was 12.2...I'd be doing receptionist, at meeting centers and maybe some church meetings...I guess they also have kiosk at the mall, selling products...we'll see, need to do something....Well Halloween is over here.....now it's NOVEMBER....ugh....

Yea to Laura on the surgery plans....and Heather, my sincerest condolences.... Liquor I believe stays pretty good....at least real alcohol, like whiskey, vodka etc....wines, syrupy stuff that stuff doesn't seem to keep...I cleaned out our liquor cabinets a few weeks ago...moral of the story, buy big halg gallon/liters of booze when you are young....we have bought some of these on our cruises/trips and we do not drink that much anymore, not like in our 20's-30's....still trying to get the nerve to open some Bailey's that is unopened but in cabinet for a while....it would be really sad if Bailey's made me meet my demise....

Good afternoon.....Haydee, I never lived in N'Olwins...just was there for 4 days? I have another online group and we used to have "reunions" every year...one yr was in NO...loved the food....etoufee and jambalaya...and MUFFALATTA's...across the street and down some from cafe du Mond...and I think we had them at napolean's too...have tried making them here, but hard to duplicate the bread...and since I really don't do bread well anymore...Food Network just had a show Chef vs City and they did NO...Brennan's was one stop...not sure about the other places...well off to start dinner...Laura thanks again for the "puter help"....

Well, I am back from one of the most difficult 24 hrs...a guy I used to work with, his little baby boy Aiden, 9 months old, died on saturday...so I went to the wake and funeral. He was born with TGA, some sort of transposed arteris and it affected all his organs,,,,he was on vent and dialyisis and in the hospital for all nine months, except for the last few days, they were able to bring home with Hospice,,,,so tiny and perfect looking....like a little doll...never went to a wake/funeral for a little one like that..never want to do it again... Back to ice cream...I found a swap recipe for wendy's Toffee Coffee....was pretty good sub for the real thing: HG's Toffee Crush Coffee Shake Come Slurp Away!This Wendy's swap is a GREAT way to celebrate your summer vacation... even if it's just a weekend at home. Ingredients: 1/2 cup Breyers Double Churn Free Creamy Vanilla fat-free ice cream 1/3 cup light vanilla soymilk 1/4 cup Cool Whip Free, thawed One-third of a 1.4-oz. toffee chocolate bar (like Heath or Skor), finely crushed into bits 1 tsp. Hershey's Lite chocolate syrup 1 tsp. Coffee-mate Sugar Free French Vanilla powdered creamer 3/4 tsp. instant coffee granules 1 no-calorie sweetener packet (like Splenda or Truvia) 3/4 cup crushed ice or 4 - 6 ice cubes Optional: Fat Free Reddi-wip Directions: Place powdered creamer, instant coffee granules, and sweetener in a glass. Woohoo!!! I am "fixed"...thanks so much Laura...was having problems signing in the last few weeks....so have been lurking...and reading....the good news is that I went to Dr. last Tuesday and I am at 100# from the day of surgery!!!! Bad news is still no job....getting very depressing.....oh, well...not doing much this weekend....watched both of our teams lose today, Hawks and Cubs!!! Hope everybody is having a good weekend...great weather here, so far!!!

Laura, I would just call the Dr's office before you start out....most Doc's have a "sick" room where they can hold the sickly ones away from the others in the waiting room...I just noticed Carson was born on your Bandiversary!!!! I:blushing:'m a little slow sometimes....my "grand" nephew hated tummy time also...he didn't really crawl until he was 1 yr and walked at about 15-16 months...but he had abs of steel...pulled himself up to sitting without rolling over...

You guys look great.....sounds like fun....
