Well, it's been 4 yrs. For me, 4 yrs tomorrow....surprised nobody else is checking in...all's good here, down 115 lbs...

I am sorry I didn't pick that up....and yes, Elgin is about 40 miles from Chicago...and IN the city it does get pricey and now it is probably worse...not quite so bad in the burbs...so how far is it to KC from STL???...we've done STL a couple of times...ok, well think I am tucking it in for the night....have a great week all....and I also got de-friended....c'est la vie!!!!

Morning, err afternoon ladies....So excited and happy for you haydee-when are you due???? Michelle, my BFF's son is really excited for World Cup also....he coaches HS soccer...here it is Hockey, right now...our Chicago Blackhawks are in the Stanley Cup finals against Philadelphia....series tied at 2....they are home tonight....will be best of 3 now and we have home advantage.... I made Lifetime at WW yesterday....a milestone...I am actually 4.2 lbs below goal,,,then to find out, since I was alreadt lefetime many many moons ago, I should have not had to do the 6 weeks maintenance, or stop paying as soon I reached goal...which was late march...but since they have changed numbering systems since the dark ages, not sure of my old lifetime number...well see.... Janie, are you in/near Kansas city-we may be doing a road trip in July...Everyone else, have a great Sunday....I am off to the store...

Morning all, Was a beautiful weekend here....got my planters done, went to a great Irish festival Sunday, Monday just chillaxed...and our Blackhawks won TWICE...only 2 more wins needed for the STANLEY CUP....(that's Hockey!!!) Not much on agenda today....DD is off work and home...in the shower as we speak...2nd one in 12 hrs...umm, all you did was sleep....grr, she takes long showers....but we love her anyways.... Have an interview tomorrow for another temp position...my other thing ended Friday...cross your fingers and stuff... Michelle, am reading a Danielle Steele book, Sisters, and the storyline is starting with a similar scenario as your FIL.. Judy, hope your surgery goes well, they have come soooo far with it these days...you'll be zumba-ing in no time.... Janie are you in Kansas City area....I know Tracey W is...well, shower is over....everyone have a great day!!!

I like Parenthood, Haydee....I am soo ticked at NBC though-after the Conan disaster, they now have canceled TRAUMA and Mercy...this from the network that brought us FEAR FACTOR-sheesh...the idol kid was from this area...and the Biggest loser was too...AND I saw the Mayor of Elgin today...lol...at City hall and I met a city councilman...red letter day for me...yawn..have 2 more weeks until I hit LIFETIME with WW...still 1 1/2 lbs below goal...we went out for dinner and I had not 1 but "2" margaritas...and some enchiladas...guess what I am having for lunch tomorrow...ok, getting sleepy-trying to stay awake for Paula Deen on the CHIN, but fading fast...Kathy Griffith is on now...sometimes I can take her, sometimes not...

Evening all...wasn't much of a Lost fan either...in the beginning we watched, but "lost" second season....upsdate on my cousin, from his daughter :Dad remains in the Neuro ICU. He doesn't know much about reality at this point but when Shelley Rob or me walk in he knows who we are. That is a miracle compared to last week. Your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated and please keep them coming. Like I said, he knew us yesterday-this happened last week Tuesday...he owns his own business and went home to do some stuff around the house-we think carry some patio furniture upstairs,,,he didn't come back for a big conference call, Daughter tried calling, got no answer, she headed to the house and called 911 on the way...he finally answered the phone but was incoherent, and when she got there, he was sitting in a chair in basement cradling the phone..there was blood on the floor and on the door jamb to stairway....Drs. thought he had been hit by a truck... Found my temp job will be over Friday...:mad:Guess it will a REALLY long weekend!!

Happy Birthday Janie AND WELCOME BACK AND CONGRATS, hAYDEE..had a busy weekend-for a change-went to see an old friend of my Mom's yesterday and went to Madison today to see my cousin Mike...for those not on FB, he fell down his basement stairs, we think backwards, enden up with a fractured skull and brain swelling...thankfully, he is doing "OK"-snoozing a lot, has pneumonia, but knew who we were today, knows his kids,,,tired and am working this temp job all week, I believe....so I better get to bed...will look in tomorrow!!

YES!! The new WW week starts on Sunday, so definitely-you may not have another 4.5 loss.....but... Now you may have to wait until Saturday to track your weight on Etools...or just do the tracking when you get back...

Pam, The best advice I could give you is go anyway (to WW)...it's the accountability...and chances are you will be pleasantly surprised...with a loss....or not having as big a gain as you think....

Judy, good for you that's great!!!I was up a little, but still "under" goal...freezing here too and windy...but no white stuff...nothing on tap for the weekend, except curling up in my wooby...small bright spot...I have a job...not a very well paying one and VERY temporary, only 2 1/2 wks, but it's something...working in the HR dept. of the City here..so we'll see... Played Bunco the other night for the 1st time ever...was interesting...didn't win squat, but that's the story of my life.. I hope everyone has a great Mother's Day..

Yes you get 35 pts. per week, to use however you want...I was at 21pts., now with maintenance, I am at 23...and I lost again this week, so we may have to adjust the goal/or new Drs. note...decisions...they want you within 2 lbs EITHER way of goal, so now I am at 4.2 below goal....maybe next week I'll weigh in jeans and hubby's hiking boots...lol....enjoy the weekend everybody!!!

Judy, I wonder why the monthly pass is higher there...try doing it online before you go...cuz its 39.95 here too...I also found a couple lap-band "groups" on the WW site...I'll send thm yo you when I find them again....I hope Michelle is having a good time and Haydee too..my daughter is leaving for FL/Tampa area tomorrow, just for 4 days, but I am jealous.....I need a vacation...of course I need a job, so I can afford a vacation!!!!:smile:

I heartily recommend WW-it has kept me accountable...I actually hit goal last week....granted, I asked my DR for a note to make my goal higher...I just don't see me getting to 155 at my age....and I have been hqanging in the 60's for months....so it kinda feels like I backed into the goal weight, but in 6 wks. I won't have to pay anymore, so thats good.... The only part of following plan I have trouble with the band...I can't do fruits or vegetables very well....bananas get stuck...salads, iffy, broccoli, forgetaboutit....and I am not quite sure how to count pts. when i PB....I really like my leader though-she knows about my band....however I think the band is why I was never hired by WW... I really want to be happy about the weight accomplishment, but this dang no job status is reallyyyy getting me down....:thumbup: Hope the knee feels better Judy, Michelle, hugs to you and your family....Hope Carson is feeling better Laura, hope the weather is beautiful for your special day, Haydee.. Sorry I could not post sooner, I could notchange my password...but I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to you and your family also, Michelle.. I started out the week with strep and now have bronchitis and a sinus infection....my daughter's boyfriend and another friend of mine both landed jobs this week...other than that it's been a long week..sick of being sick...:tt1:

Prayers going up here for everyone...I had a wee bright spot yesterday,,,I talked to one of my Mom's oldest, dearest friends...I had tried checkinng Facebook a couple weeks ago looking for her son, they had an unusual last name....found the daughter, found out her brother had died, but that the mom was still alive and kicking....so I called her and she sounded exactly the same, we talked for an hour-she is still driving, lives essentially on her own, was a great talk...sorry you all are having trials right now....hang in there....

david Cassidy was my sister..I was Beatles girl...saw him once before with her...many moons ago....gonna get to bed..Hubby is off tomorrow and Monday...busy weekend...for a change...:scared2:
