  1. I was banded on the 15th - and yesterday was the first day I felt 'normal'. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I am with the port area. Definately sensitive, and I feel like I want to sit up straight and not slouch - because when I do the area bothers me. Does this make sense? Who would have thought that good posture would be one of the things I'm getting out of my surgery. I'm already on soft food - had some Halibut last night for dinner - just a tiny piece and it went down fine and filled me right up. I haven't had hunger problems at all - I won't have my first fill until July 27 - my doc doesn't put anything in the band to start with. Anyway - overall I'm feeling back to normal and looking forward to the future! Best of luck to everyone else out there!:bored:
  2. Hi there - i'm day 8 liquid - actually clear liquids started today. I'm doing good too- feel good- not really hungry. I'm tryining really hard not to get hung up on my diet - cause things are going to be this a way a while. Anyway - best of luck to you!
  3. Congrats and good luck - my surgery is Tuesday morning - I'm excited and actually doing good on my liquid/clear liquid started today. No food dreams - thankfully!
  4. Doctors office called me today - they received insurance okay. I'm scheduled for June 15th. I feel only excitement right now - like i am liberated or something...can't really explain it - but the feeling is good good good! I meet with the staff Thursday to go over pre diet and everything else... maybe then the fear will set in! Best wishes to all of the other June Bandsters
