Pre-Op Hungry Girl

Hi,I'am on my 5th day of my pre op liquid diet and doing good. When moments get tough I distract myself from the thought of food... I,d like to chat with some people who have gone through or going to go through the same thing.

Frozen SF Popsicles and a loooot of gum!!! SF Jello helps too. And add fruit and ice to your shakes (if you're allowed to) to thicken them up in a blender. It gets easier. Hang in there! Best wishes!

Hi there - i'm day 8 liquid - actually clear liquids started today. I'm doing good too- feel good- not really hungry. I'm tryining really hard not to get hung up on my diet - cause things are going to be this a way a while. Anyway - best of luck to you!

I'm on day 7 of mine and doing good so far! The hardest has been the no caffeine!!! Have had headaches off and on but they say that will go away eventually too! Good luck!

I don't know the specifics for your doc but mine had me on 4-6 shakes plus one 300 calorie meal each day. Can you throw an extra protein shake in somewhere? I used the Bariatric Advantage shakes with added splenda and they were very thick. Really filled me up.
