I have always had a difficult time with my weight since junior high school.  In August of 2009 I decided after a failed liquid diet through a local hospital that  I would proceed with a lap band procedure.  I have MS in addition to my weight issues and carrying around the excess weight is exhausting and hard on my condition.  I started my liquid diet today, I have 13 days until surgery.  I am curious how my body will respond to 600 calories a day.  Today I start the first day of the rest of my life at 230 pounds.  I have a goal of 150.  I know I will be successful at keeping it off with the added help of the surgery.
