  3. Oh man, it’s such a lost feeling. Because if I am told not to eat something, I totally won’t. But I hate that not knowing! It makes me feel like I can’t be in control of this, besides just staying on a liquid diet!
  4. It’s so hard figuring it out! I can eat something and not have an issue with that and then the next time get really sick. Do you still get it? How far post op?
  5. It’s the absolute worst! And oh man, 6 months like a really long time!! How far post op are you and do you still get it at all?

  7. Hi! I was just wondering how you were feeling these days? Have you found the regret and depression have lessened? I am 2.5 weeks out from a lapband to bypass conversion and still having quite a bit of regret. Hoping it will just go away in time
  8. Thank you so much for the advice. And I don’t actually throw up. It’s more like being so nauseous that I stand at the toilet dry heaving but nothing really coming out. Eventually my stomach will cramp up and it comes out the other end. Wow I didn’t realize that we don’t throw up anymore ?! I guess I got so accustomed to just throwing up anytime something was too uncomfortable when I had my lap band prior to this. What about if you’re sick with a stomach bug? Even then you don’t throw up? That’s so strange to me lol
  9. Have you tried eating mushy foods yet? I’m already able to eat mashed potato consistency food which I didn’t expect so quickly. I just we are traumatized by the lapband hahaha

  12. What differences do you notice as far as restrictions and things that are easier now with the bypass instead of band?
  13. How soon were you back up on your feet and feeling like yourself again? And what do you notice as far as restriction compared to the band?
  14. Hi! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but I had a rough go with my surgery! And more complications then expected. But I am getting better every day! I had a lot of scar tissue from previous surgeries and my hemoglobin got very low after surgery and I had to receive several transfusion. Super scary ordeal but I’m seeing the light now and excited I’m down 20 pounds since preop diet. Good luck with you surgery!
  15. Hi! I am having revision from Lapband to gastric bypass this Thursday sept 30. Would love a buddy to go on this journey with! I am so beyond excited for my surgery
