  1. I went through with it. I was banded on 4-14-10. I've lost 25lbs so far with the pre and post op diet. I'm glad it did it. I'm looking forward to my first fill so I can get some restriction.
  2. I am getting banded next week. My job requires me to work outside most of the time and it's going to be hot soon. I was wondering how the heat effects the band? And if so does anybody have any advice on how to deal with it? I always have plenty of water with me but I have heard it is hard to drink a lot of water at one time.
  3. Thanks for all of the advice. I can't wait for my surgery date to get here, "and the baby too".
  4. I am 4 days into my pre-op diet and doing well. My surgery is scheduled for the 14th of April. I am looking forward to feeling better and loosing weight. But we just found out my wife is pregnant! Now I feel guilty about having the surgery because I am paying for it and loosing weight while she is gaining seems kind of mean. I wanted some advice from some dads to tell me if what they think.
