  1. :confused: Hi, I have had what he Dr thinks is a surface infection of the port site for a week (banded 4th Feb 10). This is my second round of antiboitics and just not sure if its getting better. It is still hot and very red (about an inch all theway around the wound), and the port site is raised (like someone stuck an egg in there), but is not weaping. Has anyone had this issues? Is swelling of the port site area normal 2-3 weeks post surgury? HELP!!
