hi Annie, welcome to LBT. the timing depends on many factors including insurance and if your ins company requires anything and how busy your surgeon is. best of luck to you.

coming out of the closet...
ummm ... not much little about it ... im getting a baby belly. gaining and losing the same 3-4 pounds so not bad. i am SOOOO hungry lately (munching on apples right now). i have another OB appointment the 28th and we'll schedule my next ultrasound. im getting excited! morning sickness isnt that bad - pretty much gone away except when there is some sort of sudden movement or when DH and i are sitting on the couch and he's bouncing his leg ... grrrrrrr.

Is my experience normal and what should I do?
:confused2::confused2::confused2::confused2::confused2: WHAT? i'm sorry ... regurgitating, PB'ing, throwing up, yacking, whatever is not fine. you will be in danger of losing your band due to a slip. a banded patient should be properly restricted - not too tight, not too loose. you should be able to have 3 meals a day - maybe liquids for Breakfast because a lot of people are tight in the morning, but lunch and dinner should be lean Protein (1/2 - 2/3 chicken breast maybe), small portion of veggies, and MAYBE if you have room a teaspoon or so of carbs. your diet should not be all liquids, that is in no way, shape or form healthy or balanced and you will not learn healthy eating habits that way. if you are vomitting, please consider a slight unfill. sometimes even .1-.2 cc makes a huge difference. good luck!

wanting to do lap band...
hi, welcome to LBT. it's one of the best decisions i've made - ever. i now live my life and enjoy it! my suggestion - read here, read the stories ... even the not so good ones. you want to be fully prepared. once banded, get properly restricted - not too tight, that's not healthy. best of luck to you.

Waiting
actually, drinking with meals can cause you to lose at a slower rate because it can push the food through your pouch at a faster rate. MM - what about exercise? are you exercising? are you logging your food?
