Going 2 Juarez

:D Hello,

My name is Jaclyn, I'm 24, and I live in Virginia. I am scheduled to get my lap-band surgery done on July 1st. I am very excited and I am very nervous. My husband is accompanying me on the venture and it will be our first time flying together and our first time outside of the country EVER! I have had a lot of friends, family, and coworkers try and talk me out of going to Mexico, but it IS the only way I can get the surgery, and I feel I have done my research. I am going through belite weight and Jessica is my patient facilitator. So far, she has comforted all of my fears and I feel she will continue to do so before my surgery and afterwards too. Dr. Jose Rodriguez is doing my surgery, so if there is anybody that has had any personal experience with him, feedback would be great!

Jaclyn,

I went to Mexico and it was wonderful. I went to Mexicali and Dr Aceves and Dr. Campos did the surgery. The hospital is the best hospital I have ever seen and I am an RN and have been in lots of hospitals. It was an adventure for me too but has went well so far-I am currently in the San Diego airport waiting for a flight home. I had the surgery on Friday and am doing great today. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have for me.

Tonja

I am to being banded by Dr. Rod. on June 5th and Jessica is also my facilitator. I will let you know how things go for me. May I add you to my friend list so that we can chat on our experiences?

Thanks

Kelly
