  1. Thanks I will have to do that... I had my band done by Dr. Marc Savoie in Bathurst. I'm really happy so far with the results! Thanks for the info! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
  2. Hi there, just wondering if there is anyone from New Brunswick on here. I was just banded on December 1, 2010 and am feeling pretty good. Still on the pureed foods and really looking forward to solids in the next week or so! I have 22 pounds off since I started my two week pre-op diet of Boost! Really looking forward to when I can start at the gym again! Hope to see some fellow New Brunswickers on here!!
  3. It's a hard road to go but I think that the end is really just the beginning. So if I have to wait for another year it will be disappointing but worth the wait... right? To be healthy is what is important. The surgery is just to help you.. you still have to do all the hard work of diet and exercise...
  4. I had a referral to Dr. Savoie in December 2008 and am still waiting for my first consultation appointment. When I talked to his receptionist in the first of January she said it would probably be in April before I got an appointment. It was a bit discouraging but I'm going to the gym and watching what I eat. Trying to change my lifestyle now instead of later. I'm very anxious to see what he has to say! Does any one have a current wait time for surgeries with him?
