My 1st Fill isn't going the way I wanted.....

Thanks for the reply! I didn't think about swelling. My band is 10cc empty and they put in 3cc's. I just feel sooooo icky. My first 6 weeks has been such a breeze that when this issue came up, it freaked me out a little. I guess it could be worse...I could be drooling!

My 1st fill didn't go the way I thought it would..... Just returned from my first fill and after about 30 minutes, I have terrible heartburn and major hiccups. I only drank a few sips of Water after the fill but now I have some moments where I feel if I threw up, I'd feel better. Is this a normal process? I have a call out to Dr. Malley's nurse so we'll see what she says. The band is 10cc, the fill was 3cc. Ugh....I feel horrible and just want to lay down....

Hi Everyone, It's been a few weeks since I've been on the site. I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time, I have my first fill tomorrow. I definately have way to much freedom in the band so I'm hoping Dr. Malley goes to town with the fill. Yea for 62 degree weather!! How crazy is this?? 9 inches of snow than 62!! Keeps me on my toes.... How's everyone doing with their food choices?? Give some updates! If anyone wants to chat I'm on Bleumist@aol.com

Hang in there Kendra! Believe or not, the pre-op goes by pretty fast after the first couple of days. Great job of just saying NO to McD's!!

Looking forward to finally meeting some of you on Saturday! How's everyone holding up?? It's been so hard going through what everyone calls Bandster Hell. It really is difficult to eat correctly and small portions. I'm looking to the future where my good decisions become good habits and I don't have to try and control myself so much. I will automaticately be and eat healthy. :blushing: Happy Friday!!
  12. I noticed about 4 or 5 days ago that when I got up to walk I felt a tightness/pulling in my abdomen. It's immediately to the left of my belly button so it's below my incisions. Does anyone else have this? It's not really pain, just discomfort. I don't feel it when I'm sitting or lying down, just when I walk. It's the strangest feeling...... Anyone else have this????
  13. Thanks for the friending! Congratulations on your banding! Hope everything is going well by now and you're taking it slow. Remember the first 6 weeks are for healing, so stick to those food amounts (better to eat more meals than bigger ones until you're healed). Check out my blog if you get time. -BG
