  2. I agree 100%. Thanks for posting this. You can't blame anyone for your failure but yourself. You have to change everything about the relationship you have with food, that's why I gained weight to begin with. Learning to deal with stress differently is key and excercise is a great way to deal with that. I failed my band and me alone and had to start over. Thanks again for putting things into perspective.
  3. This is so strange and I'm not sure if it matters much. I have always been a people watcher and try to read people. Now that I have lost weight people are nicer to me. I walk down the halls at work and people that wouldn't speak to me before are nicer to me. People say hello and smile. I'm not as fat on the outside but the same on the inside. Has anyone else seen a change on how people treat them or is it just me.
  4. I had this happen alot during the first month of surgery. The only thing that helped was walking and the gas-x. The Dr. said it was trapped air from the surg. they have to inflate your stomach with air during the surg.
  5. I haven't lost what I wanted. My Dr. said I have lost a little over a lb a week which is still good. I just have to realize that this is a slow journey and the end result is worth it. Even if I am loosing slowly it is still better than not loosing at all. A pound is still a pound.

I had my surgery on 8/24/09 after the surgery the neck and shoulder pain was awful. I didn't think I would every get over the gas build up and burped constantly. The burping has gotten better but I still have days where I feel so bloated.
