Well the day is almost here when my band comes out.I am sorry worried. Not knowing what is going to happen when I go to the hospital tomorrow. Im so annoyed mu sugery time is so late. I don't have to be there till 1245. And Sugery time is scheduled for 215 ..This really s....k s.

Yes I'm having some major issues. I have precancer cells that they food in my stomach. The walls around my band are thinking, which has caused my band too be very tight. ( I have nothing in the band) I am not able to eat and keep it down. Almost everything comes back up,

I have a few questions about the recovery time after having your band out, what is it like? My Dr said it's the same as when the band went in. I was out of work for almost 2 weeks. I was hoping to go back the Monday after. My surgery is on a Wednesday . My other question is how long after the surgery do you have to wait before you can have sex? If any of you have any answers that would be good.

I wish I could have something else I was hoping to do the sleeve. But my Dr said my insurance wouldn't cover it because my BMI is too low since I have lost over 100 lbs. So I stuck with nothing. (

I have had my band since 2/2/10 and I have lost 100+ lbs. I have some issues that have caused the walls around my band to thicken which has caused my band to become very tight. My band is completely empty. I have a lot to of issues getting food down. The opening is the size of a pin hole. I saw it on the upper GI ,I had Monday. Plus I have found out that I have precancerous cells in my stomach. So my Dr is taking out the band on 7/18/12. Im not very happy about this. I'm scared that I'm going to gain the weight back. This weight loss has changed my life... My Dr has even said that most of her patients gain weight back. Plus to make it worse everyone I talk to says I will be cube and for the past 2yrs I have lerned to eat. Everyone makes this sou d so east, NOT! . If any one as any advice or have had this happen to them please if me some kind of hope!!!

ladykcusa Thank You! Now that I know what that means 'm in the the club now too. I had this happend to me 2x today. I had my first fill just about a week and half ago.(3cc) And today i had tuna with mayo ang I quess I did't chew it enough and it came back up. and than it happened again with hummus.. That was no fun!.

What does this mean PB and slime? I'm new to this term sorry!

Happy Mothe's day to all the moms out there! I have been doing preety good down 60+ ilb, so far and feeling great. What a differnce I feel, I was working in the yard yesterday all day and I was able to do the weeding and stuff without getting out of breath and withtout my back and legs hurting.This feels great. I have my first feel this coming thus. the 13th can not wait, I have last all this with a unfilled band, and I can preety much eat anything, and a lot but I have to always stop myself, and with the BBq s during the summer and stuff like this will make it a lot harder, and my willpower is thinning... Everyone keep up all the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is Great! I know how you feel. I had to go out and buy some new clothes for work. I feels really good to buy smaller clothes... Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 6 weeks with the band now and it has changed alot for me.. I have been in OA for about 2 years now, up tiill I got the band i felt like it was helping some what.. But know I feel I do not belong.. Has anyone felt that way?

I too have to wait 3 months for my first fill but not because of insurance but because my Dr. My Dr does not do any fills till after 3 months. Let me tell you, Doing this without any fills is very hard, I do notice that when I eat too fast or eat somthing too big I do feel it! with that said I do watch what i eat and I'm still lossing slowly ! Man you both have had a fill already! I am 5 weeks out and I am not getting m 1st fill till 5/13, my waits at least 3 month before he will do a fill. Yes I could eat almost anything, and a lot of it.. But I have been good, and loseing a little at a time...
