  1. I have had 3 fills, and each time I feel sick for about 2 days. Nothing bad just "off". I just take it easy and stick to liquids.
  2. Salad is my easy food! I have one just about everyday but since my band I skip the dressing.
  3. For me, I bought baby forks and spoons. Sounds funny but such a help to control how much I put into my mouth. When I use regular size I tend to eat to fast. And of course the kitchen scale. Good luck!
  4. I too wish I had done it sooner! I am so happy with my band.
  5. Great NSVs! Last week I went to a spa and the girl handed me the standard robe NOT the Super Size one and it fit! No spa treatment could be better then the feeling I got from that.
  6. YES! I noticed the clarity and a few days later people started to tell me that my eyes were clear and I look brighter. I am 2 months out and staying away from carbs. I feel great, no more junk food for me!
  7. Keep looking. I had surgery with BMI of 34. I am self pay. When I met with my Dr. he did point out that insurance would deny me. I must tell you this is the BEST thing I have ever done for myself!! So happy with my band.
  8. I am in for my first Challenge. 10 pounds for Mother's Day is a perfect gift!
  9. Sorry to say but I did not cheat on pre-op or at all since my band. It was so hard at first but now I don't even think about it, I feel to good!
  10. Here in So. California I paid $12,200 on my AMEX. This includes overnight stay in hospital, all pre-op testing, psych and 2 years of follow ups and fills. Fills are all done by my surgeon as well.
