  1. your band or your bra will not set off the walk thru metal detector.......and they take liquids at the airport for a reason........(rolls eyes)...........
  2. Nope i work for TSA and am banded........not once do i set off the metal detectors and or does the imaging machines see it.......:smile2:
  3. Honestly i took 1 week. i had surgery on a friday at 11 am and was out sat at 9 am because ins. required it. I went to the movies watched Avatar and walked quite a bit. coulda gone back to work monday to be honest. i felt fine. just stay busy. you wont have a problem......dont lay down and die so to speak!!!
  4. Jenny Craig often pays for lapband surgery and claim it was done using there diet methods. Scam yes. bad buisness.:mad2:
  5. Sounds like an allergic reaction. call your doc.
  6. i used the gas x strips that melt on your tongue.......helped me a super lot!!!!!Congrats on the weight loss!!!
  7. You have to be willing to make the change. like everyone says on here ......YOUR BAND IS A TOOL!!!! Not a magic wand. i to fall into "unhealthy " eating from time to time. Im only Human!!!!!! Only YOU can fix this.
  8. The only thing i can say to your post is: it is what you make it. if your feeling and thinkin not so positive your gonna get negative results. try turning your attitude around and think about all the positives you receive from having weight loss surgery. your health will improve and so on. have your doctor take out the fill he might have put in. get out and start walking around instead of "waiting " for the minutes to pass. i fortunately had no issues with pain when i had the surgery, but i also made an effort to make my tool work for me. i am now down 50 lbs and am loving my band 6 or so months out. you can do it!! change the way you are thinking and make it work for YOU! :blushing:
  9. I drink my beer with tomato juice now.........it bubbles up in my throat if i dont!!!! lol.....the tomato juice weighs it down a bit more. :grouphug:
  10. Man boobs or not its the weight lose i see!!!! congrats!!! i send you many hugs and kisses!!!!! losing weight is a journey and you are well on your way!!!! Heather:thumbup:
  11. i would either go .50 or .75 your close. i have a 10 cc band and im at 7.25 i have good restriction. im going for another fill on the 25 cause im stalled right now for weight loss . not gaining and not loosing. i think im going to ask for a .50 when i go:thumbup:
  12. Im at 7.25 . i think i could use another .50 i go in, in a couple weeks. im feeling restriction with bread and other gummy stuff. i find i can only eat solids from 10 am to 3pm....... weird!!! im still learning how to work my tool.
  13. i wouldnt put neosporin on it. more likely to contain the infection rather than help it. if doc says use it then by all means do so.
  14. its all part of the process. it will change when you start getting fills, everyone is different. :Dancing_biggrin:
  15. The only feeling i get from the whole process is a little sting from the needle for the numbing.......then pressure from the second needle penetrating my port. ITS SUPER EASY and painless!!!!!
