  3. Hi everyone, I am so excited to find this website and see all the support that is offered. I am 45 years old and have waited all my life to get the help I need to get this weight off. I have gained and lost 100's of pounds throught my life just like everyone else on here, I have just never been able to keep it off. I feel like the lapband will be the tool I need to accomplish my goals of being healthier and happier. Any suggestions, help and support is appreciated. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and to build lasting friendships. I have met my surgeon, I am in the process of getting all my pre-surgery requirements completed. I am excited to start this journey.
