  1. Hello, i was banded on 12/23/2009 and have lost about 37 pounds. I have had three fills so far and hopefully will hit my sweet spot with this next fill on 6/7/2010. Sweets were a big problem for me about two months ago but now i use chocolate protein shakes or strawberries and whip cream to help me out. I like the fact that I can eat anything I want and not get sick. It really is helping me make the right food choices because when i do I can lose about 3-4 pounds a week.
  2. I agree with ginger. I am currently almost three weeks out and i feel like i can eat a horse. Some days I eat a baked potato and with chili from Wendy's. It definitely makes a great meal and I'm not starved after 30 minutes. I leave ziploc bags of protein powder at work just in case I don't bring breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. Good luck!
  3. In less than 7 hours i will be banded and as you can imagine I'm soo excited I cannot sleep. Good luck to those being banded this week and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
  4. I just started my pre-op diet a couple of days ago and I am like a newborn! I am ready to eat every two hours! What was surprising to me was this morning I woke up and still had my stomach! I was for sure i was going to eat it while i slept... I'm praying for all because if we arent going through something, we just came out of it or we are about to go through it! Best of luck!
