  1. I am scheduled for December 14th. My doctor hasn't said anything about a liquid diet, but I decided to do it anyway, 2 weeks prior to surgery. I actually tried to do it today and yesterday but at night, I ate both days. I am really struggling, it seems that I have been going crazy with food since I learned I was approved. I know that the band is not a miracle, so I really need to work on my willingness to make this life change. It is not my first time around, 11 years ago I had RNY. I am hoping that this time I will make the kind of lifestyle change that I need to in order to really succeed. Good luck everyone.
