I put off even inquiring about the lap band for years.  I hesitated, because I know how to lose weight, but I also am very good at gaining it all back.  I realized that I really need another tool to help me finally win this battle and help teach me how to more in tune with my body.   I have always been a bigger person.  Even in HS when I played three sports and was really active I weighted about 175 pounds and I was IN GREAT SHAPE!  I have steadily gained and lost, gained and lost over the last 15 years so I was finally ready to just get it together.  The lap band seemed to be the best match for me.
