  1. I was banded on November 6 and it took alot of getting use to. I agree with someone else that the slim fast may not be the best thing for you. I bought the best protein shake from Costco it has 30g of protein and 1g of sugar and in between when if I had a craving I would drink crystal light or have a cup of sugar free jello also the campbells cream of chicken soups keep the cravings at bay a little bit. I know it's hard but I think if you are constantly sipping on something you will be alright. Just remember to take it one day at a time. I go back for my first fill on the 10th of December and I'm still doing 2 protein shakes a day and a small balance dinner. Remember you are not alone it helps to have people who encourage you.....Keep your head up!

  2. Today I "realized" that i'm going to be alright. It was my jobs Thanksgiving potluck I took cream of chicken soup and my sugar free jello and I was alright. I wasn't tempted to go and get a plate and that was a big step for me. This weekend I'm starting my journey of going to the gym.......Cross your fingers, eyes and toes and wish me luck....

  3. I'm learning patience is a virtue..It seems the more days that go by my body is starting to adjust to the change that's being made. It was a killer cooking my family dinner watching them eat steak and me eating my chicken broth or drinking my protein shake..I was tempted a few times to give in then I would think you " your cravings are short term but you body is for a lifetime"....
