  1. Good advice Maddysmom gave you! best wishes, Karen
  2. 22 lbs is quite a bit to gain at 26 weeks. I think that you are gaining too quickly, and you should see your lpbnd dr and your obgyn for advice. best wishes, Karen
  3. Congratulations on your NSV. If you feel that your daughter can succeed and understands the ins/outs etc of lapband, then if she is approved by insurance, it might be right for her! I agree with ali is changing and tmf. Best wishes.Karen
  4. Yes, it is a good idea to wait, because now you are swollen. However, if your surgeon's office is like mine, they don't charge if you have the fill removed within 72 hours. Bets wishes, try staying on clear liquids today. Karen
  5. Absolutely! Good post! Happy Friday, back at you! Karen
  6. what mis73 said!!!
  7. PB=productive burp. It doesn't necessarily have to come after your 1st fill. My 1st experience was before a fill. It is worst because you can't always stop it. Bet wishes to you and fingers x'd that you don't get your 1st pb soon. Karen
  8. Great NSV!!!enjoy shopping!
  9. I agree with everyone!! Woohoo! it is not often that everyone is agreement on the board. But it is important that you eat your protein and stop eating those sliders. A couple chips and salsa is okay, but eating a bowlful and not eating anything else is dangerous. You need protein, and you should not be vomiting everytime you try to eat. See your surgeon and nutritionist ASAP for advice on what to do. Best wishes, Karen
  10. It takes awhile for your body temps to catch up. I am better now after 3 1/2 years. After 1st losing 100 lbs, I was cold real cold.
  11. Best wishes, lorabeth, sorry that you have this issue. I, also, had a slip back in 2011, I had revision, not removal. I would not be happy without my band. Karen
  12. You look great! You look so much younger! Amazing results. Karen
  13. Good advice parishal and of, b-52!
  14. Sad, she looked really nice at sz 14. I can't imagine wanting to gain all my weight back. Sharon Osborne had hers removed too, but she has not gained her weight back. I agree, she needed a psych evaluation before hand. Shame the money she wasted the government. Karen
  15. Congratulations! That is an exciting goal! I remember when I did that myself, hurrah!!!!Karen
  16. Yes, that is a possibility. There are some on here who have never had a fill and have lost a lot of weight. You and your surgeon will decide if and when you need a fill. If you don't need one, don't get one! Best wishes
  17. Congrats on both your anniversaries and your NSV!
  18. Never seen anything like that either. I had a slip, and got brownish/red spit up, but I ad agree, looks like mucus. Best wishes on you search and recovery. Karen
  19. ((((hugs)))) have peace! My advice is to follow Wendy's advice above! Sounds like you need it! Try to destress. Karen
  20. Great job, wishing a great report for all!Karen
  21. Congrats, walk if you can. Take care of yourself, and remember, you just had surgery, best wishes for a great recovery. Karen
