I've been overweight all my life and it seems like every year another pound - or two - or three were getting added.  I've had one knee replacement because of arthritis - and I'm sure from being over weight.  We had two grandchildren added to the family this year, and I want to feel like playing with them.  That and several other reasons brought me to the conclusion that I needed to do something drastic.  I studied lap band/bypass information on the internet; went to my doctor for her recomendation of a surgeon - and shortly after that, I attended a class and then a group session.  My surgery was 4 days ago...  So, here I am.  If this allows me to add to it as time passes, I will...
