  1. Anyone have any idea how slow time moves once you give notice? Slower than walking through gumby.
  2. Kathy, I adore you!

  4. Psyche, I'm not leaving LBT again! Too many of you drag sappy tears out of my eyes with all the love. But it's with shock and exhilaration that I share with all of you, who have supported me in every aspect of my life over the years, that I just reached my lifetime achievement. I've been trapped in the corporate world for over 20 years, but my days are numbered. Next Friday is my LAST DAY AS A FRIGGEN PARALEGAL! I QUIT! I quit my job! Did I really say that? Yes, I did, I really, really did... I quit my job! Now you have to watch for the Slumber Buggy - it might just come through your town! I'm competing for a trip to New York City for a fully paid shopping spree in a limo with Kim, Slumber's owner, who is holding the hottest tickets to see The Producers on Broadway with an expense paid stay at the Waldorf Astoria for the highest September sales. My job held me back from winning a sexy red boat, trips to Europe, wave runners, The Bahamas, etc. I made in 3 days what it takes me a month to make as a paralegal. I can't believe I own my own business, and I can't believe how easy and fun work can be. Wish me luck, and baton down the hatches because Hurricane DeLarla is on the loose! PARTY FOR A LIVING!!!
  5. Does it help get the anger out in public? Does it matter? The purpose of a support group is to share feelings. Kinda a moot question so I can't answer it.
  6. When I ride my Harley, I listen to Pantera. Sometimes I want to scream the words in certain faces. Last night I slept with my dog's urn, and the loss of Dimebag came flooding back. It helps get the anger out.
  7. It's Barry Manilow.
  8. Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence? One step from lashing out at you. You want in to get under my skin and call yourself a friend? I've got more friends like you, What do I do? Is there no standard anymore? What it takes, who I am, where I've been. Belong. You can't be something you're not. Be yourself, by yourself, Stay away from me!!! A lesson learned in life, known from the dawn of time. Respect, walk. Run your mouth when I'm not around, it's easy to achieve. You cry to weak friends that sympathize. Can you hear the violins playing you song? Those same friends tell me your every word. Are you talking to me? No way punk.
  9. God spelled backwards is Dog. I'm a DeLarlaist and find it pathetic that fighting has gone so far as to dig up belief systems as ammo.
  10. "This Means War!!!! BiOtch, You've Gone Too Far. Come One.. Come All And Step Up To This Plate. I Got Something For You To Bite On. BRING IT!"
  11. For those of you unaware of Susan's sick and twisted ways, who continue to think she's so sweet and normal, let's fill you in on how this GFG club got started. She (and others) were part of DeLarla's 3 Month Challenge for Prizes. Right in the middle of the challenge she went off the deep end acting like a baby and quit - and only a baby would immediatly run and start another challenge then play Copycat to make her own friends. There were about 63 members doing the challenge. Boo hoo, I want my own sandbox. There, now you have the history. Sad, sick and pretty damn weird for two spouses, in the same home, to communicate through a message board. Gotta run, the coo-coo clock is singing.

  13. "This Means War!!!! BiOtch, You've Gone Too Far. Come One.. Come All And Step Up To This Plate. I Got Something For You To Bite On. BRING IT!" Can any moderator please explain why this thread isn't locked while others are? What, exactly, are the rules again? I'm pretty sure threats are somewhere near the top of the, "Don't do this or the thread will be locked" list. So why is this one okay?
  14. Mandy, why aren't her nails painted pink? That pic is just what the doc ordered, really. She looks lots like Sachi, and I often worry that I'll wear Sachi's snoot away from kissing it too much. Nana, I can't even write the things I wrote about Pit torture. Right now is so hard because 3 of us close gal pals all lost our babies within a week. And to make matters worse, my friend's pet chicken was just badly injured in a dustdevil (mini desert tornado.) Okay, I need to dig up some courage now and go to the Vet to bring my angel's ashes home to set next to Kitty Milo... doG give me strength.
  15. I received it, but I think it's a different forum than this one... right?
  16. God spelled backwards is Dog. Even though my heart feels like it's ripping, I was more fortunate than most people because I took 4 days off work to spend with him - some people aren't that lucky. I lay in bed and buried my face deep in his thick, shiny fur for hours and days; we ironed out his silky ears with our fingers and whispered in his ear. Daddy too. We cuddled and hand fed bits of anything he wanted. Daddy even cooked him his very own steak on the grill when he was still able to eat. He was worth every last moment, every last cent, every last tear. But we can't think of ourselves or our pain because other babies need us. I checked out the shelter for a baby Pit for Sachi, and I was shocked at the horror stories about abandoned Pit bulls - there are as many as 60% Pits in our shelters at any given time that are used for fighting and breeding then dumped. When Sachi's ready, it will be a Pit baby.
  17. Knowing what I know now, I would have never been banded. I'm sure lots of people will jump to defend the band by telling you that I eroded and had lots of complications, which is true. However, I don't see enough long-term success, and I see way too many complications and way too many people learning how to eat around the band. Maybe one day when the FDA or some other force steps in to make sure all patients are treated by top-notch doctors who do a complete pre and post lifestyle change package, but sadly, too many surgeons are slapping the band on and sending folks home. It's an entire lifetime commitment and mental adjustment, so unless you’re getting the whole enchilada, don’t waste your time or money. If you go forward, make sure to follow through with all the support your doctor has to offer including groups, one-on-one, intense psychotherapy, nutritional counseling… the whole enchilada.
  18. Remote Control Panties and Non-Piercing Nipple Rings. Uht oh, was that DeLarla I heard?
  19. Oh no! I just now noticed the "Where's DeLarla!" She's thread jumping. Laughing here, bawling there. She's one screwed up broad, that's for sure.
  20. His lil box just got back to the vet & I have to find a way to pick up my lil boy and bring him home without cracking up. I'm sure this is what makes people crazy. Thanks for being here.
  21. All this hysterical laughter is really good medicine for my soul. I haven't laughed this hard in a long, long Ptime. Even a damn tornado has to at least be somewhere in the vicinity to cause trouble, and I haven't been anywhere around. Yet look at the trouble and heartache I continue to cause all of you poor people. I hate myself for being such a bitch when I'm not even around, and I can't even apologize because I don't know what I did, but what a troubled bitch I was when I wasn't here. Huh? Whah?
  22. This is a special forum for rants and raves... you might want to run the other way before you get psome on you!
  23. Let's call it what it is, k? *Waves at LBT Pals, hi everyone * I left LBT long ago because I was accused of being an ignorant, immature, hurtful, deplorable, wicked person - for starters. You name it, and I was accused of it *frowny face.* It was all my fault that threads were getting locked and hate raged through LBT, so I bowed out and split. Los and beholdings, friends continue to inform me that even though I’ve been gone, my name is still being dragged through mud and smeared around LBT by the same people feigning innocence *Gee wiz, Wally.* I came back to find the same old crap being flung, immaturity reining prevalent, ghetto threats of war, members ganging up on other members, stalking, adults hurting people and the same old “innocent” names appearing over and over in all the locked threads. Hmm, this one’s so tricky, isn’t it? Can anyone figure out what the problem could possibly be? *Shrugs sheepishly*
  24. Vera, Sachi is very hard to read. I was so worried about her that I immediately found another friend for her, but first I wanted them to meet. The meeting didn't go well at all, so I didn't adopt the other doggy. Maybe Sachi likes being the only child? But the good part is we have 2 friends with dogs that were never able to visit because Voo said, "NO!" Vooey was too protective of Mamma (and all food) to allow anyone other than Sachi in. But now Sachi has playdates, and she really enjoys Doobie (1 lb Minpin) and Laina (6 month old Collie.) Sachi and Laina swim together :scalesno: I think she's okay because she doesn't mope around.
