Don't be scared! Dr. Long performed my surgery this past Thursday, Oct. 22. It was a piece of cake. I am sooo excited. Dr. Long is a good doctor; so you have nothing to worry about! We are just one week apart from our NEW lives!!!

hey.....dont be scared!!! just be PREPARED!!! i had my surgery on the 13th,,,almost a week ago now!! I had a rough few days at home, once i was discharged from the hospital. I was required to stay overnite, which i think was good since they make you get up and walk. I wasnt expecting a lot of pain at the port incision site, which i did have. And i also had a lot of weird gas pains in the arms, which is supposed to be common after any lap surgery...so i recommend getting gas-x chewables and walk a lot when u get home!! you will do great!! also prepare for the NEW food you will be eating...shop now!
