Tracey I am taking the Special Enrollments exam .... explanation look at irs.gov. PRAY that I pass this last section!!!! My problem .... is that I freak out taking the exam and OMG, the reading of the problems...need this last section for my license. And I waited to long to take the exam and need to pass...results go into cycles...long explanation..not important.. but I am persistant and now tooooooo scared to think...waited to long to sit for the exam.... that frightened :wink2: My stomach is twisted from MIL (not her fault) and I have been all day on the phone coordinating her release on Wednesday and my test it Thursday morning The power of being a woman.. regretably..family first :biggrin: BTW,,, I alway miss by ONE point....crazy but worth it to me...I will pass..one of these days Laura

As a child all the homes were decorated for Christmas and every one would go around in the cars. We even knew which home had the biggest displays. Here no one seems to light their lawns up. It is a shame and it has been like this for at least 15 years. They now list in the NEWSPAPER of the very rare lit homes. You know that I am Jewish and it is so strange, not to see the lit homes. It is something that we as kids always enjoyed (no matter their religion). We would always have friends over for hot cocoa and cookies, just to keep the magic going. My parents even told us about Santa Claus, as a child because they did not want us to tell the other kids. So we would look for him and if we would see him (which we did not, we were to wave). Sorry, I never missed not celebrating Christmas since we had Hanukah, and friends would come to us to extend the fun (remember, we celebrate for eight days....we play dreidels, eat potatoe latkes, etc...so like our non-jewish and jewish friends still say..you cooking...we come!!!! How about country homes that had the candle in each window..gorgeous...not anymore. Seriously, someone should capture the lights and let everyone view it on Youtube.

There are rice powders that you purchase thru a nutrionist that are thinner than the regular ones With the one they do come in flavors and they are GF I am not on a GF diet but would like to find that when do NOT have Gluten...shed pounds crazy I have a big licensing exam this month..I am 55 ... when I finish...I will post some links PLEASE call Columbia University in NYC...they have a celiac unit and thy will give you the names good luck laura

To all- Now that I am banded..they have a Ghiradelli site to purchase chocolates, and they make chocolate chip cookies...omg...but next year...I will get my son the carmel syrup. Walden Farms has tooooooooooooo many chemicals for me. Please go to your local health food store and get some extracts..they have maple extract which I add to everything and I also use orange to add a nice taste Walden Farms jellys are horrible...so I put crannies in our tiny sandwichs and that works BUT Walmart sells jell and I make my own jellies and jams and yummo......I wish I had a recipe just do it I currently have yummo cranberry jam...boiled some cranberries in Water till explodes....continued cooking for awhile..then added some strawberries (could have used any fruit) after cooking awhile.....then blend in blender....let it cool some....then add your stevia (if you use splenda..now is the time to add)...put in a little jar and refrigerate. When you cook with stevia you add when cooled down some.. otherwise you lose the sugar taste.. I bake with stevia also but that must be used in an oven temperature less than 325 and you have to ad some sugar (so I add either one teaspoon of sugar or a dab of agava syrup or a heap of my powder shake which is sweentened with fructose from fruit.

Cosco food Warehouse sells breaded tilapia in the frozen section...I think the brand is Trident and I have used it but I do not own a microwave...so I would not know how to explain.

Cosco has the big hummas containers but now they sell them in 80 calories portions........out here they fly off the shelf...so when I find it ... I put three boxes in the basement... It is 80 calories and it limits you since each one is a portion size...my son loves them also but he eats 2 or 3. For me... I do not have to finish the big container or allow it to call me............lol

Maybe a more liquidy lunch like soup, might work! Part of it is the tension. When I had an assignment outside of the home...I COULD NOT HOLD DOWN LUNCH. I really understand!!!

I do not own a microwave...my DH put alumin foil in it twice...so no microwave BUT a friend from my group... buys the Wendys chili and puts it in freezer and mcrowaves it when needed. It works for her!!! I make mine (recipe given) and freeze portion sizes :0) Love my chili :0)

My clan would not eat that...but OMG...looks so good! I had that problem at the beginning with the pasta...it is the chewing thing try rice.... but my nutritionist wants me to eat more Protein so.......... ThANKS.....I JUST ORDERED...S/H was 6.95 and well worth it. I use the product from HSN. I use Andrew Lessman shakes and since I use so much I order it from his place instead of HSN. I noticed that Chike had recipes.. I add my shake to a lot of items for extra protein NOt for me but my family... my teenager is a poor eater. Folkies...the statue of limitations is usually three years but they can go back to prior years if their is a smell of fraud on a good note Since, the IRS is computerized they do check for people claiming a dependent (in this case,,,, the child) on more that one return that is one thing they find quickly...years ago, the IRS keyed in your return..now most of the country e-files IF you get a discrepancy notice because another person claimed the dependent,,,,answer the response ASAP and they will take action ... against the other person It happens alot where people actually have put on their tax return a wrong social security number... thats why it is important to take care of a descrepancey right away. When you answer the IRS it sort of freezes further action..becuase you are putting them on notice that you see the problem and that you are not a fly by night. Then they will definitely help you with the situation. DEPENDING on the situation..there are timely reponses but they will tell you..or check out the site.. but always repeat alway respond asap or run to your tax preparer and (s)he will take care of it...ask for a copy of the letter they send..to guarentee it was sent and keep a log of everything you did once you received the notice...no joke .... you have to keep copies of your personal items..especially old forms.. do not belive me...think of all the Madoff folks who did not save their old returns......... i

I have got to post this my MIL who is in great shape....just had some adjustments to her heart...but still like she says in GREAT shape... was just told she has celiac by the rehab hospital It does make sense because whenever she eats bread she gets bloated not FAT>..she was never fat!!!!! Could you believe this and at 89 I went with her when the dumb as$ doctor made at her age take that test that you go up your as$ and they found nothing wrong EXCEPT me who told the dumb as$... at her age you should be ashamed of yourself, giving her that exam... which, knowing that he would have me there next time..told her he would never ever do her again..... they found nothing (duh)
