I need help with some food ideas please. Just curious what you guys eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. please include snacks. Im at a stand still and need to rethink at what i am doing wrong. i know I can always count on you guys to give me the boost I need. We are all in this together here. thanks

okay well im almost done with day 2 and it seems as though it went alot easier today. I feel as though I have made a new family here. Thanks for all the support and great ideas.

Thank you everyone. Its is day 2 today and i am feeling be alot better today knowng that we r all in this together. Thank you for the good tips. I will def. use them today. All I have to remember is that at the end it will all be worth it. Love you guys

I just got a fill today which made me pretty tight. Doc wants me to stay on liquids for 3 days. It should be easy for me being ive been doing this for awhile but its not. Im starving. Any ideas on what i can have considering im on a liquid diet. thanks

Thanks guys for your imput. I called my doc today and he scheduled me to have a fill under xray. He says this will work great.

I was doing so well. I had reached my sweet spot and was great. About 2 months age I got stuck and it just never got better. thwe docter said he thought i was swollen inside so he suggested all the fluid be removed so that it heals. now that im better i went back to get my fill ( after i gained 10 lbs.) and he put in half of what i had. No restriction at all. I went back a week later and he put in all that i had before. No restriction again. Band did not slip ( had an esophogram)I was wondering if any of you ever had this kind of thing happen to you. please help

This tends to happen after a few days of your fill. You get a stuck experience and then your band gets enflamed and you get tighter. You have to go on all liquids for a day or two and then some mushies so as to give the enflamation time to go down. I am way to tight right now and i feel my liquids gettng stuck and they go down way to slow. I am also alittle concerned but i am going to stay on a liquid diet for a couple of days and we'll see what happens. well good luck

I am on an all liquid diet now since last night and today it is still tight but i am taking small sips and it is staying down. i am going to continue this and see where i get. thanks for all your carng help. this is a long battle but it helps to know we are all in this together. i am very discouraged sometimes but in the long run this is taking me down the path i need to be at. thanks guys

I got my 4th fill on Thursday and everything seemed okay. All liquds went down fine. I wake up Saturday morning and I have a small drink of water and it gets stuck and since than it has been hell for me. Everything is getting stuck. It goes down after alittle while buy until it does i am in alot of pain. Will it losen up if i go on a all liquid diet for a couple of days or do i go for a unfill which wouldn't be for another 3 days. any help would be appriciated.

hello, I was banded july 15 2009 and I also am losing slowly these last two weeks. I have two fills thus far and the last one that is received I think may have been very tight because I had a hard time swallowing . I have lost a total of49 lbs. since my surgery. I think I may need another fill but I am going to wait until after christmas just in case it is too tight again. You know no matter what I am still losing and not gaining that right there is enough to keep me going not to mention all the compliments I receive. You know its weird because I know I have lost weight but when someone tells me I look great I feel so surprised that anyone notices. I hope you are doing well and this I have to say I love this website it has gotten me through some very hard times. When I feek discouraged I come to this site and it helps me so much. good luck to you and talk to you soon.

when I get food stuck and it feels like all my saliva is coming up, I chew 2 tums and it goes away instantly. I had to tell you guys this because it was a painful thing before I discovered this. It feels like a miracle. try it and see

Hello all, I was just wondering how all you july bandsters are doing so we can compare notes. I am doing okay I guess Except for eating to fast and not chewing enough on some occasions and it caused my pouch to get irratated and it caused alot of pain so my dr. put me on a liquid diet for 5 days. It wasn't that bad being on liquid I lost 8 lbs. in 5 days of liquids. I have lost a total of 28 lbs. to date. I do fing it hard to keep on track because sometimes and the majority of the time i feel hungry. I got my first fill at the end of august and I was just as hungry as before the surgery. The only difference was that food kept getting stuck so easily. I would stop eating because of the whole stuck feeling. but regardless of all my complaints nothing tastes better than being skinny. haha and we are in the right direction and we will do it. :biggrin::biggrin::blushing::thumbup:Anyway enough about myself I would love to hear about you guys.
