  1. i dont know how much i have in my band, i have never been told! I read alot on here about how people know how much saline is in their band, but i have never been told. I am def. gonna ask on my next appt! I have actually lost alot, so i feel sucessfull but it would be nice to not be hungry! I know this is a tool not a cure all! I guess we have to give it time. thanks everyone and good luck
  2. I was banded in Sept. 09. I have had 6 fills. I have done wonderful with my weight loss (68lbs) but i think most of it has been done by my strict watching what i eat. I have not felt as much restriction as i thought. I do feel some restriction but i still get hungry quickly and can eat quite a bit more than i have heard described here. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this. i am getting a little frustrated and don't know if i should contact my doctor or if i may be doing something wrong.
  3. I'm just curious...i was just banded on 9/18/09. My surgeon has me on strict liquids for 4 weeks. I am not getting alot of neutrition during this and he doesn't have me on any vitiamins yet. should i be worried about lack of protien? or other neutriants? i feel weak but im sure it is simply just getting over surgery.

  5. I am scheduled for surgery on Aug. 18th. I last seen my surgeon in April and weighed 239lbs. I was scheduled for surgery on 6/6/09 but was denied by insurance. We appelled and now i'm approved and almost there. Here's my problem...i got the i'll never eat again syndrom and ate EVERYthing in sight!!! I'm now at 250 and so nervous about my preop visit on Wed. with my surgeon. I'm scared he want think i'm serious about my commitment to this because of my weight gain. Did anyone else have this problem? I feel awful about this but am ready for my new life. I also was told origianaly i would have no preop diet.
