  1. Yall can add me to the Sept banded.
  2. The pain was worse than I thought it would be too when I woke up. But fortunately, when I walked the first time I REALLY helped. Before the walk, I didnt think I was going to be able to take it. The walk helped me a bunch. My whole tummy is swollen real bad. It looks really funny to be so swollen right under my boobs. LOL
  3. I am one day out. I went in at 6:30 am and was banded a little after noon. I didnt make it home until around 5:00 pm and I was dying of thirst. First day I probably sipped my tea and Water a lot faster than I should have. Day two, I got one pack of tomato soup Protein down and a bunch of water and tea. I went to the store and bought a bunch of veggies to make veggie stock. Tomorrow I plan on making a big pot to suppliment my liquid diet. I called the docs office to see if I could use 3 tsp of olive oil in my stock and got a fairly negative response. I told them the sheet says I could have stock soup. She said something about store bought and I just dropped it. Store bought is full of MSG and other stuff I dont want to consume. NO idea why she would be so negative about home made.
  4. Hey, I was banded yesterday. Today is a little worse than yesterday as far as pain and discomfort. Hope you do well and get home soon.
  5. Raw black walnuts are high in Omega-3 and Omega-6. But I dont know if you can have them.
  6. I was banded yesterday and did a lot of walking around. I dont feel so bad this morning, but I am taking my hydrocodone. I was surprised how good I felt yesterday, but my SIL reminded me I had 2 cups of liquid pain killer and a shot of it into my IV after surgery. Usually I am not one to take pain killers, but since I felt o good yesterday I kept sippin it today. Good luck sweetie, I hope you get to feelin real good soon.

I should have posted over here. I was looking for a thread for the Nike+ system. I got a pouch from BestBuy because I couldnt find the Nike+ shoes that fit properly (and I really didnt want to put out that much money in the beginning). As soon as I get set up, I will post my ID. How is everyone liking their system?
  8. I bought a little pouch to add to my shoe laces so I can use the Nike + iPod sensor to track my walks. I wanted some of the Nike+ shoes, but couldnt find a good fit. How has everyone else been doing with their Nike+ walks? I did a quick search and didnt really find anyone speaking directly to this gear.
  9. If you have a TV, look for a program called "Sit and be Fit". It is exercises for seniors and comes on daily.
  10. Has anyone had doubts? I went thru the 3 mo program to qualify, the whole time thinking I didn't have to make a decision on whether or not I wanted it until it was approved. I sorta expected some problems for approval. To my surprise, they approved within days of my paperwork submission. Now I am having second thoughts. I have started my liquid fast and am preparing, but I am seriously unsure I want this. Anyone else relate? Anyone know someone who was approved and changed their mind?
  11. I am having it done on 9-22.
