I am 4 weeks out and have lost 20lbs! :biggrin: just got my first fill today. 3cc's in a 10cc band.

Congrats and good luck on your journey!!! I was with Kaiser Harbor city, but they denied me twice, after doing everything they asked. Changed to PPO and was banded on Aug 21st. my whole process took one month! but i am just one person, again congrats!

I am in the same boat!! I am 4 weeks out ( lost 20lbs) but I can eat everything as long as i take my time. I am sooo hungry!! I go Monday, Sept 21st for my first fill:thumbup:! I hope it works.

I had my gallbladder out on Aug 6, 2009 and was banded two weeks later on the 21st. to me both were the same. i felt fine by the 3rd day of each surgery.

wow i thought it was just me! i was banded on Friday the 21st. and i am not hungry at all. it took me 2 hours to drink a 110z protein drink! is that normal? but i am trying to drink lots of water. for dinner i can do maybe a half can of broth. I hope i am doing this right!

I think it all depends on your Doctors. I had my gallbladder removed on Aug. 6, 09, and will be banded on Aug 21st.

I had my gallbladder removed on 8/6/09 and have 4 very small incisions. will be banded on 8/21/09 and my doctor said he will use 3 out of 4 of those incisions and will only make one new one.

I too just had my gallbladder removed on 8.6.09 and boy am i sore!! Went to see my Dr. on 8.10.09 and he want to move up my band date (8.27.09) to the 18th. he says that way i can have more recovery time for both.

just joined this site today and my surgery is set for August 27th.
