  1. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Zane. I will definitely ask to see Dr. Zane
  2. Hello everyone I am a newbie to Kaiser Harbor City options classes. I start Tuesday. I would like to know how far along everyone is. How is the program working for you? Is there any advice or tips you can offer? I read a few posts that say that some Kaiser locations are no longer offering LapBand. I was told in orientation (Aug. 26th) That it is an option. However we should be open to the bypass and sleeve.
  3. Thanks Cher for the info. I hope that all is well. I will begin the options classes Oct. 6th. I was concerned about the posts that say that LapBand is no longer offered by Kaiser. I am excited about starting the classes. I would appreciate any tips or ideas that you would like to share :scared2:
  4. In the orientation I attended the counselor said that Lap-Band was an option. However she did say that we should be open to the sleeve and Gastric bypass. She explained that some patients would do better with these procedures. That the doctors would go over the options and explain which option was better for you. I have two cousins who had the gastric bypass. They both had many complications. It was a few years ago. The Lap-Band seems to be less risky. Thanks mb20mom I am looking forward to the classes
  5. I am new to the Kaiser Harbor City Options program. The 20 week program begins Oct. 6th . I would appreciate any information and advice that can assist me along my journey. I am excited about getting started.
