It's a long one with lots of hurdles and hoops. Took me over 2 years for approval from my insurance. Lots of work was done but finally I have approval and was banded in 2009. I had lots of stuck episodes and foaming constantly, even with eating very slowly and taking most of liquid out my band. Doctor could not figure out why so we decided to convert to the sleeve. Best decision of my life. Still learning everyday!
