  1. I hate that feeling, first I perform breathing exercises, in thru your nose and out thru mouth. then stand up, walk around, this helps facilitate natural digestive process. after about 5-10mins it passes. dont drink or eat anything for at least 2hrs.
  2. I was banded July 20th, I have lost 53lbs, I have lost 18 inches off my waist and 6 inches off my hips. my top from 2x to med-large, pants 16-18 to 12-14. What helps is what you eat. I am diabetic so I cut my carbs, no bread, rice, Pasta, ^ Proteins, salads, and I have been working out at gym 4-5 x week, cardio, wts and ab workouts, next month I will be 50, so if I can do it , so can you. Good luck :tt2:
  3. I changed my diet from regular to soft then slim fast for 1 wk with lean cuisine dinner and week before surgery on optifast. I lost 10 lbs prior to surgery. It's been 2 months since surgery and I have lost 50 lbs. I know it's the gradual change in diet habits that have been successful. Good Luck. :bored:
  4. I am type 2 on 3 oral meds and now only taking 2 after lap band on 7-20-09. You will just need to monitor BS levels closely, remember you will be on low carb diet , liquids 1st couple wks progressing to soft foods. My blood sugar fasting 90-120 now and 2 hrs post 110- 130. Make sure your doctor discusses which meds/ insulin to cut back on. Good luck:smile2:
