  1. My surgery is on Friday and I have told very few people about it. My husband, my parents and one other friend know. If I'm honest, part of me is embarrassed to have to go to this extreme to lose weight, but the other part of me just doesn't want to be under the microscope of people watching to see if I'm losing weight. I'm perfectly comfortable in my decision to keep it to myself, but I was curious if others are letting more people know.
  2. My Surgery is the 31st as well! My pre-op diet is different in that I'm on an Atkins like diet until surgery and then I'm on the liquid diet. I'm very nervous about the liquid phase of all of this, but I'm just taking it one day at a time. It's nice to connect with people who have surgery dates the same day!:tongue2:
