my surgery is the 31st too, but i dont know whats the best to have, i found these super whey protein shots at walmart and it has 26 grams of protein in it and 110 cals, fruit punch flavour, they're ok but you might like them but im not sure if itll keep you full since i didnt really try it(only a sip) try adding ice to your protein powdered shakes like make them milk shake thick, that kept me full for a while and i had one protein shake today and im not even hungry right now.

im so nervous too but more excited than anything ^^

My Surgery is the 31st as well! My pre-op diet is different in that I'm on an Atkins like diet until surgery and then I'm on the liquid diet. I'm very nervous about the liquid phase of all of this, but I'm just taking it one day at a time. It's nice to connect with people who have surgery dates the same day!:tongue2:

i know right? the Clear liquids might be a lil tougher than the full liquids, but i found some recipies on here for all stages and they all sound good. wish i had a diff preop diet, the Protein shakes make me sickish blahh

good luch everyone :skep:

I mix the whey Protein shakes with some PB2 (powdered Peanut Butter from the Bell Plantation website) along with a banana and some milk. They have really kept me full. I have 3 today, with different fruit blended in. Also, I am drinking tons of Water. I also had a little bit of tomato Soup for dinner.

Good Luck to you!!!!

My surgery is in 1 1/2 weeks they said nothing about a liquid diet prior to surgery just nothing to eat after midnight the night before. I am getting very nervous having second thoughts has anyone else had 2nd thoughts
