  1. Congratulations Rosey! It is well worth the process. If you need support. We are here. Good Luck!!!:w00t:
  2. I have been banded!!!
  3. Thank you and no problem ask away. Many on here have been wonderful and supportive and have helped make this journey a positive experience. As for the weight I have been up and down for years but I finally seemed to start losing last spring. I made some major lifestyle changes and began using the T-Zone at our local gym. I also started to use diabetic boost to prepare and replace meals I often skipped. My fingers are crossed that this journey continues because for once in my life I am excited to get on the scales. Family, friends and co-workers have been extremely supportive. I have been creative with my boost by adding water and ice in a blender and drinking plenty of water through out the day. I have fallen in love with my recliner I purchased for my surgery to be able to sleep upright for a few days. Added high definition on my TV just in time for surgery and the Olympics. The opening ceremonies were amazing!!!
  4. I am a November 2008 referral but previously had been waiting since 2002. When they called to see if I wanted to switch doctors I had a call within two months. I have my surgery next Wednesday.
  5. Not been having a problem with the Boost at all. Making sure I am drinking a lot of water to keep me full. Couldn't go out for dinner for my birthday as I don't think the local Bistro carries Boost but not a problem.
  6. Just finishing up day two of my Pre-Op Boost diet. So far so good!!! The Count down has begun!!!:sifone:
  7. I am glad to hear everything is going well. I had bloodwork done on Friday. I have scheduled 8 days off as we will be going into March Break after that and then I have access to our school elevator. Quick question for you or anyone...Are you able to take your daily medications during the two weeks before the operation or do you have to stop taking them? (Vitamins and prescriptions) Take care. I will probably have plenty of questions to come.
  8. I have my date!!! Feb. 17th. Woohoo!!!:smile2:
