  1. So I'm gathering that it's about a 2-year wait. I can tell you that I am not going to wait that long. Provided we sell our house this spring, I'll be using the profit to have it done in Toronto. I had a phone consulation with Niki from Slimband. It's $16000, or $3000 down and payments of $350 a month for 4 years. The doctor there has done more lap band procedures than all docs combined in Canada. The saline fills can be done by your family doctor, if they are willing, or by other local doctors. My family doctor mentioned someone in F'ton and Slimband said they had someone in Sackville who does the fill. So, you only have to go to Toronto for the procedure. They also have a big support team that you have access to for life.
  2. Wow, Rosie Sue, that's a long time to wait. I've also bought Boost out of curiousity, I guess. I can't wait that long. If the sale of my house goes through, we're using the profit to get it done in Toronto.
  3. Thank you so much for replying, Mirielle. Je l'apprécie!
  4. How long did you wait from the time your referral was sent in?
  5. Hi all. My referral is being sent by my family doctor this morning. Can someone give me an indication of the current wait time?
