Congrats on your baby boy! I just found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have a question, did you have any fluid take out of your band when you found out that you were pregnant?

I'm glad to hear you are doing well. I remeber your profile because I was banded on 9/2. I start full liquids oday also. If you come across any "yummy" soups PLEASE let me know. Hi Coloradomom...I was banded on the 2nd. I have been using my heating pad was afraid to put it on my stomach just using it on my back. Does it really work? Also, are you having any pain around any of your incisions? Hope you are doing fine. We must keep in touch. -

Hi Amanda... I was banded on 9/2. I am doing OK. Gas pains are the WORSE!! Also I have some tenderness near one f my incisions. Other than that I'm so excited about beginning to see my transformation. We must keep in touch!! -
This post was just what I needed! My surgery is Wednesday and I have literraly been a nervous wreck all week!! Thank you for the encouraging words. BTW...what types of things did you buy prior to surgery for example I've heard of buying different kinds of "Cream of " soups, Gas X strips, etc.

Hi I'm scheduled for September 2nd. I am also self pay and it is so funny because it is like you were reading my mind. I wasn't forced to loose the weight for insurance purposes so I was eating everything in sight. I started my pre-op diet and it was a struggle firt but it is getting a little easier. Good luck! My pre-op appointment is Monday. I'll keep in touch! -

Stay motivated and don't let negativity cloud your mind. I had a friend who basically said the same thing. To make long story short she said she didn't want me to get as thin as she is! People will be jealous but you know what your goal is! -
