If your insurance is paying for the surgery then I am sure it will pay for the fill. Mine ma pay for the fills but the place I have to use does not bill insurance so I have to submit a copy of the receipt after the service is performed and paid for in full. Suck huh? It is definitely a major commitment both physically and financially.

I didn't have to pay. Do you know off hand if fills are covered under most insurance plans? I hope so because I don't have the $ to put out. My insurance covered my whole surgery, so I'm guessing it should cover fills right?

Wow, did you have to pay for the visit without getting the fill? The 28th is not that far away though. Congrats on the 7 more lbs. Is that 27 now total?

So I went to get my fill today and the doctor said she didn't want to do it because it wasn't a full month yet. But on a good note, I lost 7lbs. I go Aug. 28. so you'll be getting one before me. Tell me how it goes and good luck

Hey. that's awesome that you are getting your fill today. I really want to hear how it goes. I am getting mine on Monday the 24th. Talk about expensive. I am a cash patient and it is $350 for the first fill and that's if I drive 5 hours to Fort Worth. If I drive 1.5 hour to Austin it is $450. I do have a good friend in Fort Worth I am going to see and make it worth the effort as well. Are you completely healed up for your fill in the port inscision?

What's up man? I also keep messing up, so don't worry. My problem is I eat too fast and don't chew my food long enough. I never threw up but it feels like I have a rock in my lower esophagus and it hurts. I have too work on that. I think messing up is part of the process. With the weight loss, I'm the same. I lost about 20lbs. so don't worry, everyones different. Did you have a fill yet? I go for mine 1st today and i'm scared shitless.

Hi Delmich, how is it going so far since the surgery? I had mine the same time you did. I keep messing up and throwing up. Are you having that problem? I have lost 20 lbs and I see a lot of people are doing a lot more than me in the same 3 weeks time period. I'm just trying to judge how I am doing and if I am on track.

Nice tattoo work there, Only have one myself I was banded about 2 weeks before you and am doing pretty good. I dont have any issues as of yet, but I do expect a few when I get my first fill. I myself am looking to get another tattoo when I reach my goal weight. I would like to get some sort of phoenix to symbolize my new life. Keep up the great work and keep me posted on your progress.

first month is interesting, but no serious pains or discomfort. def. lots of learnin goin on that first 30 days with how and what to eat and drink. but after that is easy. it all becomes a habit. plus with an athletic background, it gives ya a lil more know how on workin out and having the rite mind set to get it done.
