  1. Giving up all my clothes is really crushing my soul in a way that is surprising me.

Anything that can be taken it so it will fit a while longer and you don't have to lose all your clothes at once? I'm taking a lot of my clothes in. A tuck here and there in pants waistband can be hidden by the top. Lots of tops can be stitched up the sides.

  2. 9 weeks Post Op today. To celebrate, I decided to up the game. Instead of 15 minutes on the elliptical, I went 20, before my workout. Bam! WHEN IT'S GAME TIME, IT'S PAIN TIME, BABY!

  3. Have had a hell of a week. Had to cut short the New Orleans trip due to mouth pain. Ended up gaining 5 pounds due to poor food choices, and then lost it again after having to have this bastard of a tooth pulled. I have never experienced pain like that. I now have a busted smile but at least the pain has diminished greatly. NOW TO GET BACK ON TRACK!

  4. What a great week so far for me! This is the first time in months that I have lost 5 lbs in 1 week. I am now so close to my ideal weight. I have 16lbs to go and my BMI is 26! Life is really great!

Congratulations, almost there. 5 lbs in one week is fantastic. Don't think I have ever lost that much in a week.

I walk every day. It is easy, can be done anywhere and doesn't require any special equipment. PLus it was a good place to start when I was heavier. Live by a river and enjoy mother nature every day as I walk .

Everyone loses at a different rate . If you read others posts some people actually gain after surgery or lose very little at first. So celebrate being on the losers bench, recovering well and most of your loss to date.

I understand your pain but you were so good to just remove yourself from temptation. My favorite food was bread. So far it has not tempted me but I am only 8 weeks out. Pat yourself on the back!
