  1. For the first 2 weeks after surgery I was able to eat very little and be satisfied for up to 4 hours after eating, however, on day 16 it was like a switch flipped and I became a bottomless pit. I'm constantly hungry and feel as if I could eat a horse. I have been following my pre op and I even try to make my mealtime last up to an hour, but it doesn't help. I've been eating way more than I fell i should be able to and I am scared I did something wrong. I literally on the verge of tears thinking about this. I want a fill asap but I know they will make me wait. I see the dr on Tuesday. I am hoping he doesn't yell at me for the 2 lbs I have seemed to gain.

  6. I am only one week out from my surgery and I have been having hunger pains since day 5. The first couple of days I wasn't hungry at all then all of a sudden I feel like I am starving. I am following the doctor's diet progression and making sure I am getting enough Protein and fluids as well as keeping my portion sizes where they suggest, but I am still super hungry. I have even lost 4 lbs since surgery. I wrote my doctor's office 2 days ago about this issue and they called me yesterday. The nurse said that no one had ever said that they were having hunger pains and that it is all in my head. I freaking know what hunger pains feel like, ok. This is not in my head. In fact, I just ate a little over an hour ago and I am already hungry! Has anyone else experienced this?

  8. I had my surgery on October 9th and my swelling has gone down a good bit, but my largest incision (about 2 inches long) below my right breast is still super sore. I've seen a lot of people say that their ports are under the largest cut and typically on the left side. Also, all of my incisions are higher on my stomach than I have seen on other people. Where are your incisions and port?
  9. i would consider a baked potato a solid. maybe do mashed potatoes with a little ricotta cheese for protein.
