It took me about 2 weeks to hear from my insurance company. Hang in there you are almost there.

In 2 - 3 years I hope to be retired and doing all the fun things in life that I have not done yet. I will be a lot more outgoing and enjoying each day a little thinner than the last one.

I am from Carlsbad, CA my insurance is with Blue Cross and had no trouble. Had my surgery on 6/17/09 in La Jolla with Dr. Bhoyrul

Hi Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of all of your health issues. I am keeping you in my prayers that you will be given the okay for the 2nd surgery. It is hard to be so young and overweight.

My surgery is scheduled for June 17th and right now I am on only liquids.

I am right there with you, I will be banded on 6/17 I started my liquids today. So far okay but it is only day 1, see how I feel as the days go on.

I am getting pretty excited about my surgery and to get started on the best part of my life.
