I am getting so discouraged thinking that all these patients who seen Dr Savoie last October are now just seeing him again, I just had my referral 2 months ago so I can't imagine waiting until next year! Does anybody know how many he does a week or is he doing all of the other surguries now (sleeve ect.) or just lap band? How many times do you have to meet with Dr. Savoie before the surgury?

No, I am from the Moncton Area. Yeah I know I was thinking about trying the boost too, It is probably much easier though knowing you have to do it,instead of just trying it...my willpower is not real good ,that is why I am in this situation to begin with....haha Marcie

Hi Cindy When did you and Annie see your family dr.? I just seen mine June 1st so I am probably looking at quite a wait!!! I am so impatient , I would love to have the surgury tomorrow.... I wonder how many patients he sees in a week? His receptionist told me he seen alot of patients last fall and he is now doing their surgeries this summer and the referrals he is recieving now he will see them in the fall. Marcie

Hi guys, When you are on the boost,is it like a liquid milkshake? Is there any boost bars or anything else? Is the 2 weeks on boost just to lose weight before surgury or what is the reasoning behind it? Sorry so many questions? Congrats Shipp9727 Wow... So how long ago did you you see your family Dr to send the referral to dr savoie? That seems pretty quick! you must be so excited!

I am 33 my weight is 298, I have swollen legs , alot of medical family history(my father is overweight and had 6 vessel bipass(open heart) at age 54 and both parents are diabetic. My Blood Pressure and sugar is ok now but it is just a matter of time. I am a nurse and I work long shifts (12 -18) hours in the operating room on my feet,and my knees and feet ache terrible . I just hope they will cover the surgury so I can begin my new life!!! Any helpful hints you have learned along your journey??To speed things up? Do you know what the waiting list is for Dr Savoie now?
