  1. I got 5cc on my first fill....I just got my second fill yesterday which added an additional 2cc. So I am now at 7 cc in an 11 cc band.
  2. ParrotheadCathy is so right. I use the cottage cheese(loe cals and lots of protein)...best thing since slice bread and excersice. You have to excercise...walk or something. I make it a goal to excercise at least 5 times a week. With the change in eating habits and excercising....you will begin to see the difference.
  3. hugs...I can imagine how disappointing you may feel. MAke sure you get healthy first then talk about options with your DR. Praying for you!
  4. sounds like depression is trying to set in. it is good that you can vent on here but you also should look into talking with your DR about EVERYthing thats going on. They can help you get through this difficult time.
  5. i drink a shake for breakfast...if i can get it all down. I do some cottage cheese, small salad for lunch. I also a meat and cheese for lunch. I try to load up on protein. then something small for dinner. chicken salad. I try to measure 4 oz each time i eat. But i excercise at least 6 days a week...sometimes twice a day. I think that is thebiggest differnce.
  6. relax...breathe. Are you doing what your Dr says to do? do you have a nutrionist? He/she can make sure you are getting the information that you need regarding your daily requirements. I think we all have been there where you are. Just keep doing what you know if right and the scale will begin to move again. The lapband has made me more patient person...defintely.
  7. i think i will try the slimquiks...thanks for the tips.
  8. never stopped taking my pill. Had no problems. Still been able to loose weight. I use seasonique...the pill where you have only 4 periods a year. I love it! I was advised by my doctor to use an alternative or additional birth control becuase if your are losing more than 10 lbs a mth, it is considered rapid weight loss. This rapid weight loss can cause your hormones to be out of whack. This can make the pill risky. I have been lucky so far!
  9. i didnt experience this but I have heard the some people have to sleep in a recliner for a while after surgery. You mite try that to see if you can get through a nite. Bless your heart.
  10. i think the Drs who use Fluro are a little bit more aggressive with fills. I got my first fill with 5 ccs. I think it was only because he was using fluro. we could actually see if I was getting restriction or not. I still wasnt but he was afraid to go any futher so I am ready for Sept to get here for the next FILLER UP!!
  11. hang in there and Thanks so much for sharing. It helps us all!!
  12. I did the liquid protien that you can find at any GNC store. It saved me from being so hungry. I also did the ramen noodles that come in a cup...just sip the broth in it.
